Laura Arteaga Albarello

Sustainability Junior Consultant

Laura Arteaga Albarello graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, with an emphasis on environmental and bioclimatic design, from the Pontifical Javeriana University of Cali, Colombia. In 2023, she was awarded a scholarship to pursue a Master’s Degree in Architecture for Sustainability at Politecnico di Torino.

During her postgraduate studies, Laura focused on climate resilience solutions, exploring strategies to enhance the adaptability of buildings and communities to the challenges posed by climate change. This experience strengthened her understanding of sustainable design principles and reinforced her commitment to creating resilient and environmentally responsible spaces.

Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has developed a multidisciplinary approach to sustainability, combining environmental awareness, bioclimatic design, and architectural innovation to address the complex challenges facing contemporary cities and the built environment.

Laura joined the GET team in April 2026, where she has focused on sustainability consulting through the application of LEED and BREEAM protocols.

She is convinced that sustainable architecture can play a key role in improving people’s quality of life and creating a more resilient future, while environmental assessment frameworks provide essential tools to guide responsible and measurable design decisions.
