Elisa Sirombo is a registered Architect, graduated with honors at the Polytechnic University of Turin, with a MSc. in Sustainable Design.
Former Grant Researcher at the TEBE (Technology Energy Building Environment) Research Group at the Department of Energy at the Polytechnic University of Turin, her research focused on sustainability assessment and how to best and effectively integrate building physics disciplines in integrative design processes.
Former member of the interdisciplinary FULL Lab (Future Urban Legacy Lab), active to support urban regeneration project development.
Former Teaching Assistant at the course of Building Physics and Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Turin.
She is author of several scientific publications.
Since 2011 Elisa Sirombo was involved on several commercial and residential projects, developing technical, communication and management skills. She adopted LEED as the instrument to evaluate and communicate performance, becoming LEED AP since 2014.
She has been working on building actual performance analysis (energy and IEQ), by integrating measurement and verification processes with Post Occupancy Evaluations. Making it easy to understand data, performance, and actions is Elisa’s way to transform the professional context in which she operates, sometimes not ready to follow a performance-based approach to building design, construction, and maintenance.
