Founding member of the Italian chapter of IBPSA (International Building Performance Simulation Association) in 2010, Founder and first chair of the Chapter “Piemonte” of Green Building Council Italia in 2011, Former Vice chair of Energy and Atmosphere Technical Advisor Group of GBC Italia; Full Member and Urban Land Insistute and member for the Sustainability Program Group.

His professional activity focuses on sustainability rating systems for buildings and cities and how they impact on the Italian and European Market as a driver to grow market awareness with a specific focus on USGBC’s LEED® program.
Promoter of the first European Certification under LEED® for Cities a Communities, achieved with the City of Savona (Italy) with Gold Level. LEED for Cities is the international Pilot Scheme for sustainable cities, oriented to define public policies and track actual performance data about energy, water, waste, transportation and human wellbeing. This Pilot Scheme in implemented in Savona, Italy targeting to create a business case of Sustainable City to drive the market transformation in Europe in line with Covenant of Mayors.
Committed on public outreach about sustainability, health and wellness, he is author of about fifty scientific and technical publications.
