Iacopo has a double background in Psychology and Architecture.
He graduated from the Università di Bologna in July 2017 with an experimental thesis in Architectural/Environmental Psychology. On that occasion, he started a collaboration with Professor Marco Costa, which led to co-authoring a peer-review publication in the online journal “Frontiers in Psychology” in 2018.
After the bachelor’s degree in Psychology, he joined the Politecnico di Torino, where he started a second bachelor’s in Architecture with the goal of developing a clearer view of how Psychology can be used in this field. He completed his Master’s in Architecture in 2022, with a thesis on psychological well-being in office spaces, developed at Surrey’s University (UK)- Environmental Psychology Research Group (EPRG).
During his years at Politecnico di Torino, he collaborated as Innovation Area Associate with a local startup that focuses on energy optimization. Here he helped submit and manage European Projects (Horizon 2020) as well as proposing innovations for air quality and thermal comfort optimization.
He started collaborating with GET in February 2023.
